Profta was a crowdfunding ratings and review platform that came to Sad Cactus looking for a more unexpected way to market their brand. Instead of a traditional explainer, we developed a short spoof documentary about Bobby Bennett: a shady, failed TV salesman reflecting on his past and sharing the questionable wisdom he picked up along the way.

The result was a strange, funny, and highly memorable brand piece that gave Profta a distinct voice while introducing the platform in a more entertaining way.

I provided creative direction, production support, casting, VFX, and motion design for the project. It remains one of the most fun and creatively rewarding pieces I’ve worked on.
